For Kitchen Monitor displays, just a couple special configurations.
First of all, in Stations table, that station must be set to stationType=9
Then on that station itself there must be a text File with the exact name: kitchenScreenParams.txt
Here is a sample file:
Printers: 12
Mins till Red: 7
Mins till Remove: 20
This means display will monitor all jobs sent to remote printer: 12. Remote orders will turn RED after 7 minutes and will fall off screen automatically after 20 minutes.
Alternately, first line could also be set to: Printers: 12 In this case both remote printers 12 and 13 will be monitored.
Note an actual printer does not actually have to exist. In cases where a kitchen display is needed WITHOUT a printer setup a dummy printer & folder. For ex: \\main\fastbar\printingK2 on COM3. That way system will send tickets on COM3 and doesn't really care is there's a printer there or not
